When conducting any of the transactions listed below, you will be required to input a 6-digit code in a defined field to validate and conclude the transaction. This code can be generated by clicking the white button on the device.

There are three primary ways to obtain a GTBank security token:
1. Physical Hardware Token
- Download the Form: Visit the GTBank website and download the “e-token application form” from their Internet Banking section.

Here’s how it works:
- Dial 737*7# from your GTBank-registered mobile number.
- Enter your USSD transaction PIN when prompted.

How to Activate Your GT eToken app
To activate your GT eToken app, select your customer type and choose your preferred activation method:

- Choose whether you’re a “Retail” or “Corporate” customer.
- Choose Activation Method:
- Debit Card: Provide your user credential (Account Number, User ID, Phone number, or Email) and the last 8 digits of your GTBank debit card along with your debit card PIN
- Hardware Token: Provide your user credential and the 6-digit OTP generated by your existing GTBank hardware token
- Authorization Code: Call GTConnect to get an authorization code. Enter this code along with any of your user credentials.
- Create Passcode: Once activated, create a unique 6-digit Passcode for subsequent logins.
Using the GT eToken App
- Open the App: Launch the app and enter your 6-digit Passcode.
- Generate OTP: The app will display a 6-digit OTP that changes every few seconds.

Using Your GT eToken app
Once your app is activated, you can create a unique 4-digit PIN that will be used for subsequent log in to the application and enjoy 24/7 banking.
How to deactivate gtbank token
There are a couple of ways to deactivate your GTBank token:
1. Deactivating through Internet Banking
This is the most direct method if you have access to your GTBank Online Banking account:
- Visit the GTBank website and log in to your Internet Banking account.
- Click on the “Self Service” tab on the top menu.
- Select “Deactivate Token” from the dropdown menu.
- Select the token you want to deactivate from the list.
- Provide the answer to your secret question.
- Click on “Send Deactivation Code.” You’ll receive a code via SMS and email.
- Retrieve the deactivation code and enter it in the appropriate box. Click “Confirm” to complete the deactivation.
2. Deactivating through GTWorld App
