How to Register for ANZ Online Banking

Registering for ANZ Online BankingĀ  can be completed either online or through the ANZ mobile app. To begin, you will need a Customer Registration Number (CRN) and a Telecode, which can be obtained from ANZ if you do not already have them.

These credentials are essential for accessing the registration portal on the ANZ website or app

Once you have your CRN and Telecode, visit the ANZ website and click on the “Register” link. Your CRN is a unique number you received when you joined ANZ, and your Telecode is a temporary 4-7 digit number provided when you opened your first ANZ account.

You will be prompted to enter your CRN and Telecode, after which you can follow the on-screen instructions to set up your login credentials, including creating a password. It is important to verify your identity using additional information, such as identification documents, to complete the registration process.

Register via the App:

    • Open the app and tap “Get started”.
    • Enter your CRN and tap “Continue”.
    • Enter your ANZ App PIN, Internet Banking password, or Telecode.

Please note: During the registration process, you will need to complete a form with your personal details, such as your full name, telephone number, mobile number, and date of birth.

Register via Internet Banking:

  • Ā  Ā Visit the ANZ Internet Banking registration page.
    • Enter your CRN and Telecode, or use your active ANZ credit or debit card and card PIN.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration.

What is your ANZ Bank Telecode?

The Telecode is a 4 to 7 digit number that helps verify the customer’s identity, ensuring that only the account holder can conduct banking operations remotely.

If you register for ANZ Phone Banking with your single-use Telecode, you’ll be prompted to set a permanent Telecode that can then be used to register for both the ANZ App and Internet Banking at any time.

If you forget your ANZ Bank Telecode, there are several steps you can take to retrieve or reset it. You can call ANZ’s customer service at 13 13 14 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM AEST for assistance.

The customer service representative can cancel your existing Telecode and issue a temporary new one, which you can change to a Telecode of your choice during your next phone banking session. This ensures that your account remains secure and accessible.

What is your ANZ Bank CRN?

How to reset ANZ internet Banking PIN
