Apple’s popular payments app known as Lumi’s iOS wallet has unveiled that apple users can now buy Bitcoin, Ethereum ,Uniswap through the app.
The app also allows crypto traders in buying Wrapped Ether, Yearn.finance (YFI), Uniswap (UNI), DAI, AAVE, Basic Attention Token (BAT).
The step has opened access to an alternative purchase option for hundreds of thousands of users around the world.
Apple sells its products worldwide through its online stores, its retail stores, its direct sales force, third-party wholesalers, and resellers.
Lumi wallet users in united states are limited to $500 purchases per day, $500 per week and $5,000 per year. Limits for users outside of the US are $1,000 per day, $1,000 per week and $7,500 per year.
The Apple payment system will be available to users from more than 60 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, UK, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and others.
From December 11th, 2020 after releasing the latest version of the app, Lumi Wallet’s iOS users will be able to choose a new option to buy crypto using Apple Pay. This payment method will simplify the purchase process due to not requesting KYC verification for those users who already have an account with Apple Pay wallet.
Other crypto-assets users can buy from Lumi’s iOS wallet are : USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Stably (USDS), Binance (BUSD), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Compound (COMP), Curve (CRV), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), HUSD, Chainlink (LINK), Maker (MKR), Paxos Standard Token (PAX), Synthetix (SNX), and Universal Market Access (UMA).
