According to an in-depth study by the University of Liverpool Management School, Tottenham beat its rivals to the gong due to its business model and low salary payments compared to the likes of United City, and Liverpool.
University of Liverpool Management School football finance expert Kieran Maguire, said Tottenham now has an overall club value of £2.567billion due to their ‘highly regimented and generally low wage system, along with a highly commercial stadium with continuous earning potential.’
The north London club, Tottenham spent a net £22 million on players with only Watford spending less, whereas Chelsea spent net £290 million, Liverpool £223 million, Man United £135 million and Man City £87 million.
Tottenham Hotspur were third in the list in 2018, and have extensively picked up on their £1.837 billion worth.
Manchester City dropped to second place in the most recent research, and have seen their worth drop to £2.2 billion from their £2.364 billion value in 2018.
Manchester United have dropped one spot down to third, and are presently esteemed at now at £2.080 billion.
Liverpool, regardless of their Champions League achievement and Premier League run, wind up in fourth spot with an income of £1.627 billion, a major jump from their £1.356 billion and 6th spot from 2018.
