Tekashi 6ix9ine made history as Most Viewed Instagram Live video

Tekashi 6ix9ine who is currently under house arrest due to  covid-19 virus spread has made a  breakthrough record for Most Viewed Instagram Live video with over 2 million viewers.

The 24-year-old rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) got Millions of viewers as they  watch  him talk about his prison sentence and explain how he got his jail time reduced, defended his decision to cooperate with federal authorities in the racketeering case against him and the Nine Trey Bloods gang.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is an American rapper known for his aggressive rap style, bright rainbow coloured hair and controversial behaviour.

This record was previously held by rapper Drake and singer Torey Lanez. Instagram isn’t just about posting photos anymore, and it’s always introducing more and more features to keep its users entertained

The rapper offences included carrying a firearm, assault with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to murder. He initially denied the charges but then decided to give evidence against the other gang members to reduce his sentence.

Tekashi received a lenient sentence after agreeing to a plea deal that required him to take the stand against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Court documents also revealed he was granted his release because the judge felt he wasn’t a threat to society and because he had served most of his sentence already
