Rapper Tekashi 69, good will donation of $200,000 to foundation, No Kid Hungry has been rejected, possibly due to the rapper’s criminal past.
Tekashi currently has plenty of money to spare. He reportedly made $2 million in less than a week thanks to the release of his new song and the sale of merchandise
The Foundation spokesperson for the No Kid Hungry Foundation, Laura Washburn, stated: “We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation.”
“As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
Tekashi was not pleased that his donation was rejected and he took to Instagram to complain about it.
He wrote: “@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children. I never seen something so cruel.”
The rejection comes after a woman, who claims she’s Tekashi’s baby mama, called him out after he announced he was donating $200K to feed hungry kids. The woman alleged that he’s not taking care of his daughter and has never even met her, yet he’s donating to other kids
She added, hasn’t heard from Tekashi since he was released, and commented on social media about his donation, saying, “God gave you two daughters to feed, God wants you to put them first.”
Tekashi was recently released from prison and is now under house arrest, after cooperating with the Feds and putting away members of the Treyway Gang.
