As Catalonia set to resume training, Lionel Messi and other Barcelona stars are set to undergo tests for Coronavirus on Wednesday morning.
The test is to further help in preventing the widely spread of covid-19 as LaLiga restart in June.
Players and coaches will be tested, and if all goes well, return to training soon.Barcelona’s first team players will be able to train in this fashion, and so will B team or youth team players called up
The first team will return to the training ground on Wednesday to do the necessary tests before starting individual training in the next few days
Barcelona have already announced that they are planning to welcome their players back to the Joan Gamper sports city on Wednesday ahead of LaLiga return in June behind closed doors.
‘LaLiga has given the go-ahead for the tests to be carried out after the club facilities are inspected on Tuesday. On Wednesday the medicals will be carried out to guarantee the players’ health.’
Spain’s president Pedro Sanchez has welcomed football’s return despite 25,000 deaths and over 250, 000 cases from Coronavirus.
‘We hope that football will soon be back, La Liga and the [Royal Spanish Football] Federation will decide that, but they already have our permission to begin individual training in team sports.
