50 Cent has recently released a new book titled Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter, joined Van Lathan on XXL’s IG for an interview on Tuesday night.
The rapper once again addressed his strained relationship with his eldest son, Marquise Jackson.
Looking back into their relationship, things weren’t always this way. They used to share a loving father-and-son relationship that many people would be envious of.

During the chat, Curtis James Jackson, aka 50 Cent was asked about his strained relationship with his son, Marquise Jackson. “It is sad, it’s a sad situation,”
50 cent said when asked about Marquise. “When you pray for success, you don’t necessarily pray for the things that come with it. It’s no such thing as success without jealousy without envy or entitlement.” 50 went on to say that he would pay over $1 million in child support and that Marquise “had everything I didn’t have.”
50 continued, “I didn’t think that success would cost me my firstborn but it’s the situation it is. Like, my grandfather used to say, ‘If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?'”
The singer has publicly disowned his son, Marquise Jackson, in front of at least 24.5 million people after years of back and forth altercations between the two.
