The World Health Organization (WHO)debunked the myth, adding that COVID-19 was spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks not through 5G network.
The health body said, Radio waves can only spread computer viruses, not human ones. The virus is spreading in countries without access to 5G, the frequencies from 5G can’t harm your body, and COVID-19 is caused by a contagious virus that is in no way related to electromagnetic waves.
Some of these theories suggest that the novel coronavirus can be transmitted through 5G or that 5G suppresses the immune system. Both are untrue.
The International health organization said,People can also be infected by touching a contaminated surface and then their eyes, mouth or nose.
No evidence that 5G networks are harmful to health.Your immune system can be dipped by all sorts of thing – by being tired one day, or not having a good diet. Those fluctuations aren’t huge but can make you more susceptible to catching viruses.”
Dr Simon Clarke, associate professor in cellular microbiology at the University of Reading said, the idea that 5G lowers your immune system doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.
“Your immune system can be dipped by all sorts of thing – by being tired one day, or not having a good diet. Those fluctuations aren’t huge but can make you more susceptible to catching viruses.”
Expert believe that the radio waves used in 5G are low frequency and non-ionizing radiation. These are on the opposite end of the electromagnetic spectrum to ionizing radiation sources like X-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet rays.
Therefore, 5G radio waves aren’t powerful enough to damage the cells in your body alone or transmit a virus. Much like 4G or 3G before it.
To improve the speed and capacity of our wireless technology, 5G uses a higher frequency of radio waves compared to its previous generations.
The maximum levels of electromagnetic radiation measured by Ofcom were about 66 times smaller than the safety limits set by international guidelines.
There are no 5G networks at all in Iran, yet this country has been severely affected by coronavirus. At least 3,872 have died in that country.
