Brooke Baldwin: CNN anchor tests positive for COVID-19

Brooke Baldwin who hosts “CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin,” from the network’s offices in New York City,has tested positive for COVID-19.

She now now the second CNN anchor to be infected with COVID-19 after Chris Cuomo announced his positive diagnosis on Tuesday.

In a statement via her Instagram post, Ms. Baldwin, 40, said:

‘Hi friends – I’ve tested positive for coronavirus, I am OKAY. It came on suddenly yesterday afternoon. Chills, aches, fever.I’ve been social distancing. Doing ALL the things we’re being told to do. Still – it got me.

I’m healthy… no underlying conditions…Honestly, I feel like one of the lucky ones. I look forward to being back on TV and seeing you real soon.

The  news anchor shout out to the doctors and nurses who are doing the real work right now.
