The unbeaten heavyweight from Tuscaloosa, Alabama who racked up his 10th successful heavyweight title defense Deontay Wilder predict that Andy Ruiz Jr will defeat Anthony Joshua for the IBF, WBA and WBO belts rematch on Saturday, December 9.
The American believes Ruiz has a psychological advantage over Joshua owing to his win in their first bout.
Joshua seeks revenge over Ruiz Jr on Saturday night, six months on from the Mexican’s incredible upset victory over him in New York.
Wilder told Business Insider. “There’s no way [Ruiz Jr.] can be a lucky puncher. This man landed multiple times, that’s a lot of lucky punches.

Somebody’s gonna get knocked out and you just hope it’s not gonna be you.”
“I’m telling you, from a fighter’s point of view, when you’re knocking a guy down like that multiple times, you know what to expect and know what to do the second time.
“Try and do the same thing you did the first time, the second time. “You’ve figured out his weaknesses.”
The WBC champion believes Ruiz Jr has the mental edge over Joshua and advised the unified champion to do exactly what he did in the first fight.
Also Boxing legend Tyson Fury believes that Anthony Joshua will retire if he loses to Andy Ruiz Jr in their rematch in Saudi Arabia.
the ‘Gypsy King’ said: “If he gets knocked out twice in a row, I can’t see him continuing to be fair.
Fury thinks that the rematch will go exactly the same way as the first, arguing that it’s all to do with how the first fight went.
Fury is currently looking to be scheduled for a rematch himself, fighting Deontay Wilder in February for the world heavyweight belt.
