Police in Sao Paulo Tuesday said they have moved to indict Najila Trindade and her partner Estivens Alves over allegations of r*pe levelled at Brazilian football star Neymar back in May.
The Brazilian model back in May alleged that the former Barcelona player r*ped her in a hotel in the French capital, where Neymar plays for Paris St-Germain. (PSG).
Neymar denied the allegation in the high-profile case that dominated Brazilian headlines this summer, claiming the s*x was consensual.
Najila Trindade filed a r*pe complaint with Sao Paulo police upon her return from a trip to Paris in May in which she said she was assaulted by Neymar following a pre-arranged meeting.
The lady who met the world’s most expensive footballer, Neymar on Instagram said he flew her from Brazil to France and made a reservation for her at the Hotel Sofitel Paris Arc Du Triomphe, where he allegedly r*ped her.
Police in Brazil closed the investigation into the rape allegations in late July, with Sao Paulo police investigator Juliana Lopes Bussacos saying in a press conference: “I did not see enough elements to indict.”
That was followed by prosecutors in Brazil also finding a lack of evidence and announcing their decision earlier this month to close the case against Neymar.
