Serena Williams has been fined $10,000 by the All England Club for damaging Wimbledon court during pre-tourney practice session.

It was alleged that the American tennis star damaged the practice court at Wimbledon, after throwing her racket before the start of the tournament.

The All England Club, the organization which hosts Wimbledon is said to take its grass courts seriously, however Serena won’t have to worry about the fine as she has already made $367,000 for making the quarterfinals.

Nick Kyrgios was handed two fines, one for $3,000 from the first round and another for $5,000 from the second round — both for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Australian lost to Rafael Nadal in four sets in the second round.

Fabio Fognini was fined $3,000. The Italian said during his third-round loss that he wished a bomb would hit Wimbledon.

Serena has won her first four matches so far at Wimbledon, losing only one set on her way to the quarterfinals. She also won her first mixed doubles match with Andy Murray in straight sets.
