A Missouri teacher Deonte Taylor, 36, are accused of molesting a 7-year-old student three years ago, was charged last week for trying to hire a fellow inmate to kill the child and his family.
His boyfriend Michael Johnson, 66, was also charged in the incident after the intended hitman foiled the plot by informing the police. He’s facing three charges of first-degree statutory sodomy related to the accusation that he took the then-7-year-old boy from class at an elementary school where he worked as a teacher’s assistant in 2015.
Deonte Taylor, 36, was arrested in November and charged with molesting a male student at Lusher Elementary in 2015 During that period, he allegedly removed a 7-year-old student from class and took him to another room where he assaulted him.
Taylor was arrested after a DNA test revealed that his sample matched the DNA found on the boy at the time of the incident. Now authorities say while Taylor was awaiting trial in February, he allegedly attempted to arrange for someone to kill the now 10-year-old boy and his family to silence them.
Authorities also claim that Taylor convinced his boyfriend, 66-year-old Michael Johnson, to pay inmate he met in prison and arranged to have him kill the boy — and his mother But when that inmate was released. The man instead became a confidential informant for the police.
A GoFundMe page has been launched to help the victim and his family cover the various expenses they have accumulated in the years since the teacher’s alleged epic violation. So far, over $1,369 has been raised toward the fundraiser’s goal is $15,000.

Taylor is already facing three charges of first-degree statutory sodomy. In addition to those charges, Taylor also faces two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of attempting to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution. His partner faces the same four charges.
