Juventus and Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has handed the club a list of six players to be signed this summer in order to bounce back from UEFA Champions League and challenge for the trophy next season.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is looking serious and with good reason as he plots how he can deliver the Champions League for Juventus next season.
The former Real madrid player wants the Bianconeri to pursue Benfica starlet, Joao Felix, who is valued at more than £100 million, with Ronaldo also keen to see Isco and Raphael Varane, Ronaldo’s former teammates at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo sees the signings of his former teammates as ones that would both improve Juventus to strengthen Massimiliano Allegri’s side. The purchase of these stars would not come lightly, with Juventus needing to spend in the excess of £700m in order to secure their services.
Others on the list are Fiorentina’s Italian winger, Federico Chiesa; Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele; Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt and Roma’s Greece international Kostas Manolas.
According to Corriere dello Sport,Ronaldo, feels that the players he is eyeing would not only bolster Juventus but would also weaken their key European rivals ahead of a push for Champions League glory in 2019-20.
Ronaldo became the first player in history to win the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A after wrapping up the Italian title in his first season in Turin.
