Eddie Murphy made a guest appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show last night. The ‘Coming to America’ stars chatted about whether or not the film would have a sequel.
Both actor Reunite to discuss on ‘Coming to America” 2 as they posed with Carter’s Oscar in an Instagram that was captioned, “Good morning my neighbor” this was Preliminary fitting for Coming to America 2 with Prince Akeem, Semmi and Oscar.”
During an appearance on The Arsenio Hall show, the 52-year-old on-screen character and his previous co-star clarified through laughs that the impediments that hindered a continuation were in truth legitimate ones.
In the original Coming to America, Arsenio Hall played the role: Semmi, Morris, the unattractive girl, and Reverend Brown. Eddie Murphy played the key role as Prince Akeem,an anecdotal African nation, who becomes tired of his spoiled way of life and chooses to discover a lady of the hour in United States of America – New York’s Queens neighborhood, with his closest companion and his body guard, Semmi .
The movie was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Costume Design (by Deborah Nadoolman) and Best Makeup (Rich Baker)
