Brazilian legend Pele discharged from Paris hospital after treatment for urinary infection

Brazilian football legend Pele has be discharge from Paris hospital on Monday after being treated for a urinary infection.

The 78-year-old’s discharge came after Neymar paid him a visit in hospital in the suburbs of the French capital will be back home in Brazil “ready to work again” after a five-day stay at the American Hospital of Paris.

Pele was rushed to the hospital last Wednesday after an event with French footballer, Kylian Mbappe. legendary footballer and three-time World Cup winner said; “I suffered from a severe urinary infection that demanded medical and surgical assistance as an emergency.

Thank you so much for all the love! The antibiotics are working,” Pele tweeted on Friday. “I’m feeling much better and I think I’m ready to play again!”

Brazilian legend in November 2014 stayed in a Sao Paulo hospital for two weeks, including some time in intensive care, because of a urinary tract infection.
