The talian Football Club has banned its players from taking pictures with Canadian rapper, Drake following the controversy of the ‘Drake Curse’ trailing the singer.
On Sunday evening, Layvin Kurzawa became the latest victim of the ‘Drake Curse’ following Paris Saint-Germain’s shock thrashing at the hands of Lille.
The rapper has been reported to have posed with players from 5 different clubs, after which they went ahead to lose their next football game. Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fell victim after posing for a photo with the Canadian who was holding his Arsenal shirt on April 2.
Paul Pogba is also another huge name that is on the list that has suffered from the supposed curse. The Frenchman smiled for a picture with Drake after a performance at the Manchester Arena on March 11 while Manchester United team-mates Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard watched from a box.
It all began when Drake was pictured with Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho just days before the German club were battered 5-0 by Bayern Munich.
Following the news and the viral coincident, the management of A.S Roma football club has however banned all their players from taking a pose with Drake until the end of the season. the club said, No Roma player would be allowed to have a selfie with the singer due to the superstition that they will also be cursed.
Drake has been discussed by football fans a lot this month after a series of bizarre coincidences have followed him posing for snaps with some of football’s biggest names.
