George Foreman boxing daughter Freeda found dead at Texas home
professional boxer George Foreman’s daughter Freeda Foreman was found dead at the age of 42 by a relative in her Houston, Texas-area home.
Freeda was 42, followed her ring legend dad into boxing and won her first five professional fights,She began her boxing career in the middleweight ranks in 2001, beginning with a five-match winning streak – with three knockouts – that lasted until the following year, when she was defeated in her sixth match.
Freeda was born in Texas and is one of George’s seven daughters. He also has five sons, all named George, and Freeda’s middle name is George as well.
George, 70, is father to 12 kids, with seven daughters and five sons, the latter of whom are all named George. The famed boxer twice held the sport’s world heavyweight champion, as he first held it from 1973 until losing it in 1974 to the late Muhammad Ali, and a second time in 1994 when he beat Michael Moorer to become the sport’s oldest world heavyweight champion ever.
They are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and that no foul play is suspected. Freeda is survived by her husband, two daughters, three grandchildren, her parents, and 11 siblings.
