The Bronx-reproduced rapper Cardi B, has won Hip-Hop Artist of the Year at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Winning the Hip Hop Artist of the Year wasn’t easy as she beat likes of Drake, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott to the award.
In a pre-recorded acceptance speech, Cardi B told fans that “I’m occupied with completing two or three things.” And to every one of my haters, you know I gotta thank my haters, you recognize what I’m stating,” she said. “Y’all be saying mean things and y’all be thinking those mean things is gonna discourage me, but that just makes me go harder…because if everybody gives compliments, I get comfortable.”
Cardi B showed up at the Grammys with her better half Offset. She wore a 1995 Thierry Mugler dress that had a gigantic effect.
