France international, Alexander Lacazette has said sorry for the red card he saw when his team took on BATE Borisov in the Europa League yesterday, a game Arsenal lost.
The striker received a straight red in the 85th minute for elbowing opponent, Aleksandar Filipolic.
He has since apologized for his actions with these words, “Letting the team down like that is the worst feeling,”
“I should have stayed calm but it’s not always easy. Sorry.” There are still 90 minutes to play and I believe that my teammates will make it to the next round.”
