Emiliano Sala dead Body recovered from plane wreckage,football stars pay tributes
News of Emiliano Sala death came almost three weeks ago after his plane crashed en route from Nantes, France, to Cardiff for his new contract with Cardiff fc .
Dorset Police confirmed last night that the body that was recovered from the plane wreckage at the bottom of the English Channel was that of the Argentinean striker who was flying to start his new life with Cardiff FC in the UK from Nantes in France after his £15 million signing to Cardiff FC when the plane went down.
Pilot David Ibbotson’s family are still waiting for him to be found. Friends and relatives of the pilot’s wife Nora said she was ‘beside herself’ waiting to hear whether or not he had been found.

Some of Europe’s biggest clubs are beginning to pay tribute as the continent wakes to the news of Emiliano Sala’s death.
The hand of God footballer Diego Maradona posted a tribute on Instagram. He said,how many had kept a ‘light of hope’ for the footballer, adding: ‘I send a big hug to your family and friends’.
Meanwile, Cardiff has released a statement on their website, ‘We offer our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of Emiliano. He and David will forever remain in our thoughts.’
Hours before the news was announced publicly the footballer’s sister Romina posted an image of her brother and their mother Mercedes.
