The acclaimed rapper Cardi B, who erased her Instagram account barely three days after she quite the social media platform ,came back to Instagram and announced her collaboration with Bruno Mars on a new song that is coming out on Friday.
The rapper deactivated her instagram account following substantial backlash she got when she rose the primary lady to win the award for Best Rap Album which she did at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Cardi won a Grammy award in the best rap album category for her collection for her album ‘Invasion of Privacy’, which made her the first solo female rapper to take home the honour. This isn’t the first time that Cardi had deactivated her Instagram account. The ‘I Like It’ singer briefly delete her account in May 2018, after getting in an online argument with fellow rapper Azealia Banks.
According to many on social media, she didn’t merit the award and maybe was given the award to show disdain toward Nicki Minaj who admitted to have irritated one of the Grammy Awards makers.
Responding to the reactions, Cardi B expressed that their supposition isn’t right since she buckled down and relentless for three months to put her album in place, as she’s meriting the award. Subsequent to airing her musings on Instagram, she quickly erased her page.
She wrote, announcing that she was “back from retirement”, Cardi confirmed the new collaboration and shared a photo of herself and Bruno Mars.
“Alright so I have returned from retirement to declare I have a fresh out of the plastic new song turning out Friday at midnight with @brunomars . #twogrammywinningartist,”
