The United States Singer Ariana Grande has reportedly pulled out of performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony after reportedly falling out with the show’s producers
The 25 year old pop star, who was scheduled to perform at the February 10th show reportedly had a disagreement with Grammy producers over what songs she would perform during the show.
She was nominated in two major Grammy categories: Best Pop Vocal Performance for “God is a Woman” and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener:
The producers had initially refused Ariana Grande to perform her new single “7 Rings” from the upcoming album Thank U, Next.
The singer and producers at first reached a compromise, agreeing that 7 Rings would be part of a medley that Grande was to perform but the artist pulled out completely after they demanded they be allowed to choose the second song.
After coming to a compromise, allowing Grande to perform the single as part of a medley, the 25-year-old still went on to cancel her performance because they were also trying to dictate to her the second song which she would perform.
