Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has joined Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The Spanish midfielder move was the fact that he want to teams up with former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry who currently coaches the team after fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Italian manager Maurizio Sarri in the summer.
After passing his medical and signing the contract, Fabregas said on Twitter: ‘Wow. I’m honoured to announce that I will be starting an exciting journey with this wonderfully historic Club. @as_monaco will be my home for the next 3.5 years and I cannot wait to start this new challenge.”
Fabregas leaves England with the most Premier League appearances, with 350 to his name in spells with Arsenal and Chelsea across 12 seasons.
