The Canadian rapper Drake has settled lawsuit with Layla Lace, lady who claim she was impregnate by the rapper.
In September, Drake documented his claim against Layla Lace, real name Laquana Morris for civil extortion, fraud, emotional distress, abuse of process and maligning. tmz reports.
In the suit, the rapper admits to having consensual sex with Morris while at a Manchester, England hotel in February 2017.
TMZ reported on Friday that Drake and Lace settled the case. She can not put forth any “expressions asserting or suggesting that the rapper attacked her,” got her pregnant or relinquished her. She is never again allowed to trash Drake in any capacity.
As indicated by documents filed on Friday and obtained by TMZ, the rapper informed the court that he and Morris have settled their lawful issues. As a major aspect of the settlement per TMZ, Morris has consented to decline republishing her Instagram post from April 2017 where she originally made the pregnancy claim and that she won’t make “explanations alleging or insinuating [Drake] assaulted her,” got her pregnant and relinquished her, or some other criticizing remarks about Drake
“Drake and his group are happy with this outcome and keeping in mind that Drake acknowledges the help he has gotten, he asks that his fans and the media allow the two g parties to proceed onward with their lives.
