Former Miss Moscow in 2015, Oksana Voevodina 25, married the King of Malaysia, King Muhammad V of Kelantan after she converted to Islam.
The new “Queen of Malaysia” wedding ceremony took place on November 22 in a concert hall in the upscale Moscow suburb of Barvikha, according to Islam News.
Oksana Voevodina, 25, is 24 years younger than her new husband who has been on the throne since 2016.
Six months before the wedding, Voevodina adopted Islam and took the name of Rihana. The wedding was stuffed with halal food on the tables.
The 49-year-old king was dressed in Malaysian national dress and the bride wore a white wedding gown. The reception was alcohol free and all food was halal.
