Cardi B turn herself to police and charged to court over strip club fight
The Bronx-born rapper Cardi B turn herself into police on Monday over strip club fight with twio bartenders in New York.
She was not arrested when she surrendered herself to police, but did receive a summons to appear in court.
Cardi will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on 2 bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens NY also with 2 misdemeanors,reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. The 2 bartender sisters Jade and Baddie Gi TMZ reports.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was at the strip club with Migos, who was performing at the club that evening.
Cardi – who was at the Strip Club because Migos was performing — came face-to-face with the 2 bartenders and allegedly told her posse to attack them with bottles, chairs and a hookah smoking device. The 2 women were both hurt, but refused medical attention.
The 2 bartenders -Jade and Baddie Gi — say Cardi had a long-standing beef with Jade because Cardi believed she had slept with Offset.
TMZ report that, the attack was “spontaneous” and was triggered after someone threw a drink. They say nothing was premeditated.
Attorney for the sisters,Joseph Tacopino said, It’s as simple as that: She ordered the beating after threatening my clients and later participated in an assault against them.”
“Whether she’s a famous rapper or a common street hood, she’s got to be held accountable for her criminal actions.
She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this. But it doesn’t matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B … if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice.” Attorney oseph Tacopino said
