Adesua Etomi rock Bill & Melinda Gates’ 2018 Goalkeepers Event held New York

With the ongoing 2018 Goalkeepers event organized by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Nigerian Actress Adesua Etomi is currently in New York for the event.

Goalkeepers is a multiyear campaign dedicated to accelerating progress towards the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals). Using powerful stories, data, and partnerships.

The awards dinner was held to honour activists and groups who have positively impacted people’s lives and have inspired others to accelerate change.

On Tuesday, 24th of September she attended the Global Goals awards dinner wearing a jumpsuit made by no one other than Mai Atafo, it is almost as if she’s the perfect muse for him!

Participants include young leaders like David Sengeh, chief innovation officer for the government of Sierra Leone; Trisha Shetty, Indian lawyer, social activist, and founder of SheSays; King Kaka, Kenyan musician and activist; and Aranya Johar, Indian spoken word poet. Other speakers include Graça Machel, international advocate for women and children’s rights and co-founder of the Graça Machel Trust.

Others include Richard Curtis, writer, campaigner, and Project Everyone co-founder; and Stephen Fry, actor, writer, and presenter. Performers include British singer songwriter Ed Sheeran and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.
