Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump LANDS UK for four days visit

US President Donald Trump has touched base in the UK for the beginning of a four-day visit. Trump arrived at Stansted on Air Force One this evening before going to the US Ambassador’s residence in Regent’s Park to meet embassy staff.

Trump, who said he is “fine” about any challenges arranged amid his visit, was joined by his better half Melania Trump as they arrived at Stansted at 13:50 BST before a helicopter took them to the US ambassador’s residence in London.

The US President will spend time with both The Queen and Theresa May in London, where security has been increase as a major aspect of a £30million operation.

Opponents have threatened mass protests against the visit, but Mr Trump is expected to avoid areas such as central London where demonstrators could gather.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said ‘trouble makers are not welcome’ and the protest is “not anti-American”, more a demonstration of the UK’s expectation of the “highest standards”.

Watch him arrive in the video below.
