Premier League giants, Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has indicated that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge this summer and Madrid is his preferred destination.
But any move would be difficult as the midfielder still has two years remaining on his contract with Chelsea.
The Blue will not allow him to join Real Madrid unless he hands in a transfer request.
Spanish outlet, Cadena COPE reports that Hazard had been given until the end of April to inform Chelsea that he wants to leave this summer. And as Hazard failed to tell the club, he must now hand in a transfer request to push through a move to Madrid.
Hazard impressed for Belgium at the World Cup and after beating England in the third-place playoff on Saturday, the Chelsea midfielder addressed his future.
‘I will go on holiday and ask myself the right questions,’ said Hazard. “After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different.
“I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision if they want to let me go.”
