The former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has been offered £176m four-year contract to become the new coach of Qatar.
The Frenchman has immediately been linked with a potential switch to Chelsea but it appears that the 45-year-old may be targeted by Qatar.
Zidane was widely expected to take a sabbatical, much like Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique have done, but an offer of £120,000 per day for four years – which would leave him £176m richer by 2022 – may be too good to turn down.
The Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris, on Twitter has suggested that a contract worth £176m over four years is already on offer for Zidane as Qatar look towards hosting the 2022 World Cup.
It was just a career move for Zidane! It’s also a money move also! Money talks here and in the world of sports playing the game is one thing and money is everything. With money ,the best stars can he gotten. A concept the Manchester City FC understand same with other top clubs and Zindane has move to Middle East country of Qatar. A country that is swimming in oil money and hosting the world cup in nearest future and Zidane would be piloting the affairs of Qatar National team.
