Osinbajo receives Lord Mayor of London

Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Tuesday received the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Charlse Bowman who led a delegation of business and investment interests from the United Kingdom.

Fielding questions from state house correspondents after leading a delegation of business and investment interests on a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday, Bowman said he is in the country to reassure the Nigerian government of its continued support as well as build bilateral investment and trade opportunities.

Bowman who is also the spokesperson and principal ambassador for the UK financial and professional services, noted that his delegation had a productive meeting with the Vice President.

The UK delegation who will be in the country for three days, will also meet with senior officials if relevant ministries, departments and agencies as well as the private sector
