A 16-year-old kid has been accused of the murder of 15-year-old Nigerian rapper Jordan Gbolade Jaiyeola who was killed outside a birthday party in Romford on Saturday.
The youthful rapper who performed drill music under the name Young Valenti and was referred to locally as Jordan Douherty passed on after he was beaten and wounded by in excess of five aggressors in the wake of battling split out when up to 100 adolescents mobbed the occasion.
As indicated by reports, Gbolade died at the scene.
In an announcement by the Scotland Yard Police, they affirmed that they have arrested a 16-year-old. He was grabbed on Wednesday morning in Newham, east London, and taken to a police headquarters.
Three other teenagers aged 15, 16 and 17 who were held at the scene on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.
A post-mortem examination found that Jordan, from Grays, Essex, died from hypovolemic stun caused by a cut injury to one side ventricle of the heart.
Talking about the episode, Metropolitan Police Chief Inspector Larry Smith stated: “We trust that this birthday party was promoted via social media, resulting in a large number of people attending.
‘Various people were escorted out of the community centre and this prompted a battle breaking out, and, heartbreakingly, Jordan getting lethal wounds.

‘Response team officers who attended the initial calls were confronted with up to 100-plus youths and I would like to directly appeal to those present to contact police about what they saw and heard to help my team build a clearer picture of what took place.
According to Twitter user, Femo, his aunt, the boy’s mother had left Nigeria to the UK to get a better life.

Police are appealing for information. Detective Chief Inspector Tim Wright said:
“We understand that neighbours and people passing through the area witnessed the incident on Tuesday evening. We are keen to speak to all witnesses and would encourage them to come forward as soon as possible. A young man has lost his life and we are doing everything we can to piece together what took place.”
