Man commits suicide jumps to his death from UCH’s 5th floor

At the beginning of today, a man in his mid 50s conferred suicide by hopping from the fifth floor of the Administrative Building of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State. The occurrence, which got numerous people ignorant, pulled in their consideration when they abruptly observed the man arrival with a crash on the established floor outside the Mortuary Department of the hospital.

Wearing blue local clothing and a couple of palm shoes, the deceased, whose personality was yet to be discovered by the police crushed his head when he hit it on the floor.

In spite of the fact that the workers at the doctor’s facility were still on strike as at display, the administration, as per the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Deji Bobade, detailed a doctor to examine him who certified him dead, after which the police were invited and took some investigation notes before the remains were deposited at the hospital morgue.

Eyewitnesses told koko level that the man climbed the handrail by the staircase of the floor, got on top of the short visor constructed as an umbrella to protect people using the stairs, and then jumped which saw him land on the hard floor where his body could be easily seen by passers-by.

Unsubstantiated reports demonstrated it that the man left a note showing he was duped of N30million thus chose to end his life. The note was said to have been taken away by the police.
