Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against the Kardashians is shut down by judge saying can’t blame the family for her reality
In October of 2017, Blac Chyna filed the lawsuit against Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Rob claiming they ‘strong-armed E! to cancel Rob & Chyna’
Blac Chyna lawsuit against the Kardashians has been shut down by a judge on Thursday says she can’t blame the family for her reality show getting axed.
The judge said the network had every right, under the contract Chyna signed, not to continue the series.
Chyna argued in her suit, that her former in-law-to-be caused her E! reality show Rob & Chyna to be canceled. She accused Kris Jenner and some of her daughters of pushing E! network to cancel “Rob & Chyna”.
She said, E! had “effectively” exercised the option for season 2 when it announced it would air, and started shooting scenes. The judge says that’s not enough, though, and Chyna will need something in writing to prove E! was obligated.
Chyna can as well amend the lawsuit in regards to the cancellation controversy, plus she still has other claims such as defamation on the table.
She also accused the trio of defamation, after they alleged that she left Dream at home while she went to a party.
The Kardashians countered that claim by saying they are ‘bald conclusions that have no factual support.’
Rob and Chyna started dating in January 2016 – the same year they got engaged and also welcomed their daughter Dream, now 13 months.
They were on-off until they finally in February 2017.
