Buhari received First Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership award by Martin Luther King Jnr Family Members

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday hosted the family of late united states Baptist minister and activist Martin Luther King Jr. in the State House, Abuja, Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesperson, report.

Buhari was conferred with The First Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018 at the Council Chambers.

Matriarch of the family, Naomi Barbara King, presented the president with the first Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award.

She however, advised that the nation continue to pray for peace and strive to eradicate corruption in order to be a nation to be reckoned with.

Those in attendance are: President Muhammadu Buhari, SSAP Hon Abike Dabire Erewa, Dr Mrs Naomi Barbara King, Mr Baba Onabanjo, Amb Erika Bennett and other members of African-American Human Activist Late Martin Luther Jnr during the conferment of The First Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018 at the Council Chambers in Abuja,”
