New York correction officer shoot her ex-boyfrend outside Queens Prison then kills herself

The New York corrections officer Kisha Brown in uniform opened fire on her 44 year old ex-boy, Rasheem Lord outside a prison in Queens on early Tuesday after firing at her ex-boyfriend and riddling his car with bullets.

According to New York Daily news,the former couple were arguing outside the Queensboro Correctional Facility on Van Dam Street when she shot at him.

“She fired a lot of shots. She emptied out that clip,” Abreu said. “She dropped something, but I couldn’t see what it was. She made it about 150 feet down the block and I heard two or three more shots. A guy started yelling, ‘The lady shot herself! Call an ambulance!’”.

The correction officer reportedly left the scene after the first shooting, then retiurned to unleash multiple shots at her former partner’s vehicle.
She wasn’t saying anything. She had a determined look on her face like she wanted this guy dead,” said witness Darison Abreu, 27.

An eyewitness, Rafael Macias,”I saw a female corrections officer shooting at a guy. I was making a left turn and the bullet hit the passenger’s’ side door. I heard six shots in total.”

Abreu said:

“She was on her back, face up. Her eyes were a little more than half open.

“She wasn’t saying nothing. She was breathing, though. I was trying to see where exactly she was shot, but the other Corrections officers were pushing me back.”

Gunfire erupted outside the Queensboro Correctional Facility on Van Dam St. near 47th Ave. in Long Island City at about 6:30 a.m., officials said.
