Osinbajo to visit Edo state this morning in engagement and consultation with the Niger Delta.

Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is expected to arrive in Edo state on an official visit to Governor Godwin Obaseki this Monday, March 6 morning.

 Obaseki’s close aide Gloria Adagbon revealed it in a brief statement that Osinbajo is visiting Edo State “in continuation with his engagement and consultation with the Niger Delta.

The Ag. President shall hold stakeholders meeting to engage the oil producing communities in Edo State.”

This is yet another visit by Osinbajo to a Niger-Delta state. He has been touring the oil-rich Niger Delta region since February, much to the appreciation of Nigerians.

According to Gloria, the itinerary of the acting president goes thus: “Governor Obaseki will receive His Excellency, Ag. President Osinbajo at the Airport and thereafter they will proceed to the Oba Palace to see the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II.
