Iranians stage protest outside Nigerian embassy over Shiite attack and also summons Nigerian envoy over Zaria Shiites’ killings

Nigerian embassy in Tehran, the Iranian capital to register their
displeasure over the Army- Shiite group clash that occurred in Zaria,
Kaduna state on Saturday December 12th. Meanwhile the Iranian government
yesterday summoned the Nigerian Ambassador to Iran, Ambassador Tukur
Mani to receive Iran’s protest over the deadly attacks on Shiite group.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Monday summoned Nigeria’s envoy in Tehran, Ambassador Tukur Mani, over the killing of the Shiite Muslims in Zaria city, Kaduna State in the most recent two days, the FARS News Agency has reported.

The Nigerian armed force had conflicted with individuals from the Islamic Movement of Nigeria whose individuals professedly assaulted the caravan of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, on Saturday.
