Duplicate copy of the letter Okonjo-Iweala sent to GEJ requesting consent to send $300m to Dasuki

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy Friday made public a copy of the memo she wrote to former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, seeking approval to release over $300 million dollars and 5.5 million GBP from the funds recovered from former military dictator, General Sani Abacha, to Ex-National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki to purchase arms for the military.

In a statement she released yesterday Dec. 10th, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said that she released $300 million and 5.5 millions from the Abacha loot to former NSA Sambo Dasuki for the purchase of arms and ammunition for the prosecution of Boko Haram members
