The UEFA Champions League competition ready for the knockout stage OF round of 16 teams that will progress from the group stage after Thirty-two teams which have whittled down to 16 for the second-round draw, which takes place shortly after the conclusion of the final group games.
England has become the first country to have five teams qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Group winners: Manchester United (ENG), Paris (FRA), Roma (ITA), Barcelona (ESP), Liverpool (ENG), Manchester City (ENG), Beşiktaş (TUR), Tottenham Hotspur (ENG)

The draw for the knockout stage will be conducted in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday, December 11 from 12pm.
The dates for the matches are February 13/14 and 20/21 for the first leg matches and March 6/7 and 13/14 for the second legs.
The draw for the last 16 of the Champions League will be a seeded draw and the winners of the eight groups will be seeded. The eight group runners-up will be unseeded.
Teams from the same group or national association cannot be drawn against one another, so, let explain further , Chelsea FC cannot be drawn against the likes of Liverpool.
Clubs from the same country cannot play each other in the first knockout round.
Nevertheless, that will change for the quarter-final draw, which will be an open draw.
